Yes. All four programme tiers are 100% free at launch — Free Discipleship, Certificate Foundations, Advanced Certificate, and Specialist. There are no hidden fees, no premium tiers, and no charges for certificates. PSTM is a service of The Church of Pentecost Australia to its members and ministers nationally.
Course length varies by tier. Free Discipleship courses typically take 3–4 weeks at a self-paced rhythm. Certificate Foundations courses take 6 weeks. Advanced Certificate courses take 8–12 weeks. Most students study 2–4 hours per week.
Yes. Every Certificate Foundations, Advanced Certificate, and Specialist course awards a QR-verifiable digital certificate. Each certificate has a unique number, an 8-character verification code, and a QR code. Anyone can verify a certificate's authenticity at pstm.pentecostau.com/verify.
Absolutely. PSTM is built mobile-first. Video lectures, quizzes, assignments, and certificates all work on any phone, tablet, or desktop. The platform is also installable as a Progressive Web App for offline-friendly study.
PSTM is primarily designed for members and ministers of The Church of Pentecost Australia. Registration captures your Area, District, and Assembly to enable organisational reporting. Non-COPA members are welcome to join Free Discipleship courses. Certificate-bearing programmes may have additional eligibility criteria.
PSTM certificates are recognised internally by The Church of Pentecost Australia for ministry training, role progression, and ordination preparation. The platform is being designed with future Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) alignment in mind, but PSTM is not currently an externally accredited educational provider.
Every course is built around video lectures (15–25 minutes each). Reading is supplementary. Quizzes are multiple-choice or true/false where possible. Assignments offer multiple formats — written reflection, audio submission, or sermon recording. Lecturers provide individual feedback.
Free Discipleship courses are instant-enrolment — no approval needed. Higher tiers may include prerequisite checks (e.g., complete Tier 2 before Tier 3). Bulk enrolment by Area or District is available for organisational training initiatives.
